"Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott" was originally written by Martin Luther between 1527-1529. Most scholars currently recognize both the melody and lyrics as Luther's own composition, though some contested the authenticity of the melody in the past. This version is mostly based on the 1853 English translation by Frederick H. Hedge, with some modifications by me.
My arrangement here partially preserves a form of the original melody, while also including an instrumental version of that melody transposed down to the relative minor.
